Help San Francisco Hillel Students Rebuild the Gulf Coast
San Francisco Hillel is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization that provides programming for Jewish undergraduate and graduate students in San Francisco. Our programs relate to religious and cultural issues as well as emphasizing community service and social justice.
This spring we are planning to send 36 students and 4 staff members to the Gulf Coast to aid in the ongoing rebuilding efforts. The project will last for 2 weeks and has an estimated cost of $650 per person, which is $26,000 for 2 weeks of work.
We are hoping to fundraise as much money as possible to alleviate the cost to the students. All donations are tax deductible and can be made online and through mail with credit cards and checks.
